Electronics Engineer – Industrialization (m/f/d)

The Company

PTS is a German new-space company whose aim is to democratize the access to space and bring down the cost of space exploration. PTS is a privately held company, and our goal is to show that it is possible to build a sustainable business in space exploration. As well as delivering cheaper and more regular opportunities for academics, industry and educational institutions to conduct in-space research, we are keen to develop the infrastructure required for future settlement on the Moon and beyond.

 

CLAM is a fast-growing project with the goal to use applied space technology for the needs of the logistics sector. We are a strong team, open to unconventional ideas and looking for constant improvements.

Your Tasks

• Leading and realizing the CLAM development from existing prototype to industrialization
• Support the engineering team

• Resource management and planning of the engineering design and development through all industrialization milestones

• Implementing electronics engineering best practices across the design, and the development and testing/certification procedures
• Responsible for the review and acceptance of standards (reports, plans, technical data) related to design, analysis, manufacturing, assembling, integration and testing of hardware and payload

 

 

Your Profile

• Experienced in the industrialization of electronics-focused developments
• Good German and very good English skills
• Both analytical and creative thinking, structured work, organizational skills, empathy, ability to work in a team
• Research savvy and interested in the latest technology
• You like rapid prototyping
