Embedded Systems Software Developer – Avionics (m/f/d)

The Company

PTS is a German new-space company whose aim is to democratize the access to space and bring down the cost of space exploration. PTS is a privately held company, and our goal is to show that it is possible to build a sustainable business in space exploration. As well as delivering cheaper and more regular opportunities for academics, industry and educational institutions to conduct in-space research, we are keen to develop the infrastructure required for future settlement on the Moon and beyond.

Your tasks:

• Provide embedded systems expertise
• Plan and design software architectures for space segment systems
• Implement and test the space segment software
• Interact with other engineering teams to tailor the software solutions to their needs
• Documentation of work

Your profile:

• Finished studies in computer science with embedded systems engineering
• Experience in designing software architecture and requirements engineering
• Experience in working with C/C++
• Experience with Linux/UNIX
• Experience in working in agile projects
• Interested in learning about new technologies and taking responsibility
• Very good English speaking and documentation skills
• Experience with NASA cFS and RTEMS are a bonus
